Maintfix carried out the maintenance and upgrade of two paint booths and a pre-treatment area in Rovaniemi within the agreed schedule. The work included cleaning of the ductwork and heat exchangers, replacing filters, servicing burners, and upgrading old lighting fixtures to new LED lights.
In addition, the floor grates were replaced with more durable and higher models, and the floor was raised to improve functionality.
The Maintfix team completed the work efficiently and professionally, and the client has been very satisfied with the results.
In Turku, we successfully completed a car lift replacement, where the old lift was replaced with a larger and more powerful model. As part of the project, we also carried out the necessary floor modification to ensure the new lift was installed safely and securely.
Careful planning and professional execution ensured that the lift was operational without delays and met the client’s specific requirements. This project is yet another example of Maintfix’s ability to carry out demanding installation and modification work reliably and efficiently.
In late autumn 2023, we completed the installation of a comprehensive fire suppression system in a three-story building in Pieksämäki. Three of our employees were involved in the project, handling the installation from start to finish. This was an interesting and challenging project that required precise planning and careful execution to ensure the building was equipped with a reliable and safe fire suppression system. The work progressed according to plan and was completed on schedule, making this project a successful example of collaborative effort.
Docking in Rotterdam
In January and February 2024, Maintfix took part in an extensive Azipod 5-year service at a shipyard in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Our six-person team carried out the maintenance efficiently and on schedule, ensuring that the vessel’s propulsion systems were restored to flawless operating condition. Our technicians demonstrated excellent teamwork and technical expertise even under challenging conditions.
Docking in Cádiz
At the same time in January 2024, another Maintfix team was working in Cadiz, Spain, performing a separate Azipod 5-year service. Once again, our personnel showed outstanding adaptability and professionalism in a busy shipyard environment. Despite the challenges, the service was completed as planned, ensuring the vessel’s reliability for its upcoming voyages.
In August 2023, we successfully completed the installation of an SKF grease lubrication system at Stora Enso’s Uimaharju mill. The project focused on improving lubrication solutions for the bearings of the dryer fan motors, enhancing their performance and extending their lifespan. As part of the installation, an automatic lubrication unit was also implemented, ensuring continuous and precise lubrication for optimal operation.
